Oslo Leadership Course Ceremony 2009
On this past Sunday, the leadership course gathered for the last time in a ceremony finalizing the leadership course in Bnei Akiva for 2009.
In the ceremony we heard the thoughts of those starting the journey of being leaders as well as the feelings of those handing the roll over.
Rabbi Joav Melchior spoke about leadership from his point of view and Mr. Ze’ev Shwartz, chairman of Bnei Akiva World Wide, wished luck to the new generation of leaders, who as he believes have a lot of power to influence the face of the Jewish world.
Ted Aspelund, representative of D.M.T’s board, shared his kind words and wishes and granted the new leaders with a diploma.
At this opportunity we would like to also thank Anne Sender for supporting our every will and dream this year.

We would like to thank parents and others who care and dedicate time and concern throughout the year and who participated in the ceremony. Your involvement in the course is very meaningful to us and to the young leaders. Bnei Akiva is of course a youth movement and naturally should be run by youth, but the support of the parents and community surrounding is necessary.
A special thanks to Hertzel Cohen who supported the idea from the very beginning, guided and helped out throughout the course and other Bnei Akiva activities.

This is the first year of having a leadership course in Bnei Akiva and the community, there for we have much to learn and improve. We would be very grateful to hear comments and suggestions that would help to improve the course for the next generations to enter the course.

In this opportunity we would like to also thank the magnificent Bnei Akiva board and leaders, who lead us too throughout this adventurous year in Bnei Akiva Oslo.

A personal thanks to the “Hagvura” group who made the course an interesting experience for us, took it seriously and gave all they could.
Your path starts now and here, find your personal strengths let them lead you to lead others.
