UK: Special BA Week Limmud
Hundreds of people across the UK gathered for a special Erev Limmud as part of Bnei Akiva Israel Week. London, Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds all held Limmud sessions about the Negev and the role of desert in the development of Am Yisrael.
“Israel Week is a celebration of Israel and all of her achievements” said Zak Jeffay, Bnei Akiva’s Director of Education; “we should be standing together not just at times of trouble but throughout the year appreciating the miracle of our generation.”
London Limmud hosted Rav Rafi Ostroff Head of Hachsharot from World Bnei Akiva. He spoke about the role of Am Yisrael and the importance of regular time set aside for learning Torah.
